is currently a freelance realtime reporter based out of Breckenridge, Colorado, traveling to various nationwide locations or overseas, as warranted.

Michelle Kirkpatrick, a court reporter since 1986, is currently a certified reporter in several states across the nation. Michelle has been an active member of the National Court Reporter's TRAIN committee (Taking Realtime Awareness and Innovation Nationwide), an NCRA student mentor, a Colorado Court Reporters Association student mentor volunteer, as well as a volunteer national and state association certification test proctor.

 

Michelle was actively involved in the Iowa Court Reporters Association for more than a decade, serving on the Board as well as serving as the association's webmaster. Michelle has competed and qualified in NCRA's National Realtime Competition, has participated in a number of NCRA Speed Competitions as well, and has endeavored to educate court reporters on the steps to take to become successful realtime writers through the publication of articles, public speaking engagements, and one-on-one training.
